Info

Country Thunder is a country music festival and lifestyle brand that hosts several festivals each year. These festivals are usually located in traditional locations such as Florence, Arizona and Twin Lakes, Wisconsin with Alberta Canada being added to the festival calendar for the summer of 2016. Country Thunder has been known to attract people from all over North America, with visitors from other parts of the world. In 2015 each festival attracted 80,000-125,000 people throughout the four days.

Each festival offers entertainment on multiple stages. The main stage is the main attraction hosting both the biggest artists in country music and new upcoming talent, but other stages also offer upcoming artists as well as local artists. In the past, the festivals have hosted well-known artists like Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley and Eric Church.

Along with the live music stages, Country Thunder offers Electric Thunder, a late night electronic DJ'd dance party under a real circus tent. In 2015, themed parties were introduced each night including a throwback beach bash, neon rage, and a foam disco.

All ages are welcome to attend, but overall the average age of the attendants range from 22-32. Fans can join a fan club entitled CT Nation where they can share information and receive information early.

Country Thunder offers campsites in several camping areas for purchase by attendants, offering different levels of amenities, dependent upon the price for the campsite. Country Thunder also invites many food and retail vendors to take part and provides additional attractions to each show to add value to the festival experience.

Overall, Country Thunder is a country music and lifestyles brand that seeks to provide a top quality music festival experience to fans of country music.

Big & Rich are an American country music duo composed of Big Kenny and John Rich, both of whom are songwriters, vocalists, and guitarists. Big Kenny was formerly a solo artist on Hollywood Records while Rich was a founding member of the country music band Lonestar and later a solo artist for BNA Records.

Their first studio album, Horse of a Different Color, was released in 2004. This album produced four straight Top 40 country hits, including the number 11 "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", plus collaborations with Cowboy Troy, Gretchen Wilson, and Martina McBride. Comin' to Your City was released in November 2005 followed by another Top 20 single the Vietnam War-inspired "8th of November", and two more Top 40 hits. Joining the duo on this album were Cowboy Troy, Wilson, and Kris Kristofferson. Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace, released in 2007, produced their first number-one single, "Lost in This Moment". Both before and during the duo's hiatus, Rich has worked as a producer and songwriter for several other artists.

After this album, both members went on hiatus and released solo albums in 2009 — Big Kenny's The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy and Rich's Son of a Preacher Man. These also produced the duo's first Top 40 solo entries — Big Kenny with "Long After I'm Gone" and Rich with "Shuttin' Detroit Down". In 2010, Big Kenny released his second solo country album, Big Kenny's Love Everybody Traveling Musical Medicine Show Mix Tape, Vol. 1 and in 2011, Rich released the extended plays For the Kids and Rich Rocks, the latter of which included the Top 40 country single "Country Done Come to Town". Big & Rich reunited in May 2011 to release "Fake ID", a cut from the soundtrack to the 2011 film Footloose. A year later, the duo released their fourth album, Hillbilly Jedi, which produced the Top 20 hit "That's Why I Pray. In July 2013, Rich announced that the duo had begun work on their fifth studio album, Gravity.[1][2] In January 2014, the lead off single to the album, "Look at You", was released.[3]

Samuel Timothy "Tim" McGraw (born May 1, 1967) is an American country singer, songwriter and actor. He has been married to fellow singer Faith Hill since 1996, and is the son of the late baseball player Tug McGraw.

Tim McGraw has released thirteen studio albums (eleven for Curb Records and three for Big Machine Records). 10 of those albums have reached number 1 on the Top Country Albums charts, with his 1994 breakthrough album Not a Moment Too Soon being the top country album of 1994. All of these albums have produced 65 singles, 25 of which have reached number 1 on the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts. Three of these singles — "It's Your Love", "Just to See You Smile", and "Live Like You Were Dying" — were the top country songs of 1997, 1998, and 2004 according to Billboard Year-End. He has also won three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music awards, 11 Country Music Association (CMA) awards, 10 American Music Awards, and three People's Choice Awards. His Soul2Soul II Tour with Faith Hill is the highest grossing tour in country music history, and one of the top 5 among all genres of music.[1]

McGraw has ventured into acting, with supporting roles in The Blind Side (with Sandra Bullock), Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom, Tomorrowland, and Four Christmases (with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon), and lead roles in Flicka (2006) and Country Strong (2010). He was a minority owner of the Arena Football League's Nashville Kats. Taylor Swift's debut single, "Tim McGraw", refers to him and his song "Can't Tell Me Nothin'".[2]

In acknowledgement of his grandfather's Italian heritage, McGraw was honored by the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) in 2004, receiving the NIAF Special Achievement Award in Music during the Foundation's 29th Anniversary Gala.
