Info

Firefly Music Festival is a music festival produced by Red Frog Events, that was first held on July 20–22, 2012, in Dover, Delaware. The festival takes place in The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway, an 105-acre festival ground, over the span of four days. Many nationally known musical acts performed at the festival, with 48 performances held over the course of the festival in 2012,[1] 71 bands in 2013, and 95 bands scheduled to perform in 2014.[2] The festival is produced by Red Frog Events, with the hopes of having "an open-air festival on the East Coast with plenty of outdoor camping, much like the Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee".[3] Firefly Music Festival's tagline is "The East Coast's Premier Music Experience." For the festival, The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway includes seven stages, named The Porch Stage, The Lawn Stage, The Backyard Stage, the Big Break Stage, The Forest Stage, and The Firefly Stage.[4] There are many different passes options, as well as payment plans, to be as accommodating as possible. Pre-sale, early bird, advance, regular, and encore wristband options are available, with a limited quantity available of each type.

Joel Thomas Zimmerman (born January 5, 1981), known professionally as deadmau5 (pronounced "deadmouse"), is a Canadian progressive house music producer and performer from Toronto, Ontario.

Zimmerman produces a variety of styles within the house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic music. His tracks have been included in numerous compilation albums such as the 2007 In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza CD. The February 2008 issue of Mixmag's music magazine included a free CD which was titled MixMag Presents: The Hottest New Name In Dance! DEADMAU5 Tech-Trance-Electro-Madness, mixed by Zimmerman. Tracks have also been included and presented on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show. His debut album, Get Scraped, was released in 2005, followed by others in the next few years. Today, deadmau5 is one of the highest paid electronic artists in the world.[2] He has received six Grammy nominations for his work.

As well as his own solo releases, Zimmerman has worked alongside other DJs and producers, such as Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire of Knife Party and Pendulum, Wolfgang Gartner, and on a number of releases, he has partnered with Melleefresh. An early 12" single produced on vinyl titled "I Don't Want No Other" was released by Joel Zimmerman and Derek Caesar[3] under the group name "Dred and Karma".[4] The 2006 album titled deadmau5 Circa 1998–2002 was released using the alias "Halcyon441". He has also collaborated with Steve Duda under the alias, "BSOD", as well as "WTF?" including Duda, Tommy Lee, and DJ Aero.[5][6]

Headliner

Mumford & Sons are a British rock band from London, formed in 2007. The band consists of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drums), Ben Lovett (vocals, keyboard, piano, synthesizer), Winston Marshall (vocals, electric guitar, banjo) and Ted Dwane (vocals, bass guitar, double bass).

Mumford & Sons have released three studio albums: Sigh No More (2009), Babel (2012) and Wilder Mind (2015). Sigh No More peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200 in the US, with Babel and Wilder Mind both debuting at number one in the UK and US, the former becoming the fastest-selling rock album of the decade[1][2] and leading to a headline performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2013. The band has also issued two live albums: Live at Shepherd's Bush Empire (2011) and The Road to Red Rocks (2012).

The band have won a number of music awards throughout their career, with Sigh No More earning the band the Brit Award for Best British Album in 2011 and six overall Grammy Award nominations. The live performance at the 2011 Grammy ceremony with Bob Dylan and The Avett Brothers led to a surge in popularity for the band in the US. The band received eight total Grammy nominations for Babel and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The band also won the Brit Award for Best British Group in 2013.
