The Dirty Nil

Info

The Dirty Nil are a Canadian alternative rock band from Hamilton, Ontario,[1] who won the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2017.[2] The band currently consists of singer and guitarist Luke Bentham, bassist Ross Miller and drummer Kyle Fisher.[3]

Although commonly classified by music critics as punk rock, the band reportedly consider themselves just a rock band.[3]

Formed in 2006, the band released their debut single "Fuckin' Up Young" in 2011.[1] They followed up with a series of further singles and EPs until releasing their full-length debut album Higher Power in 2016.[1] Following that album's success, they released Minimum R&B, a compilation of the early singles and EP tracks, in 2017.[4]
