The Dillinger Escape Plan is an American metalcore band from Morris Plains, New Jersey, formed in 1997, named after bank robber John Dillinger.[1] The band's final line-up – which consists of founding lead guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Liam Wilson, vocalist Greg Puciato, drummer Billy Rymer, and rhythm guitarist Kevin Antreassian – is currently touring for the last time and will disband at the end of 2017. The Dillinger Escape Plan have released 6 studio albums, developing an influential musical style characterized by chaotic sonic onslaughts, technical complexity, and eclectic experimentation.
