Zella Day Kerr (born March 13, 1995), known professionally as Zella Day, is an American singer and songwriter from Pinetop, Arizona. Beginning her career in 2009, Day self-released the album Powered by Love (2009) and extended play Cynics vs. Dreamers (2012), before being signed by Hollywood Records. Her self-titled extended play was released in 2014, and garnered critical acclaim from publications such as The FADER, The Guardian, and NYLON. Her debut major label studio album, Kicker (2015), was later released the following year and peaked at 65 on the Billboard 200.
